FUTURE DETECTIVES

1. Mobility episode

The idea was to create the futuristic city, that shows problems with the transport, and therefore the mobility issue. The cityscape looks contemporary, but it's just an illusion – as the camera pans down, the lower part of the city unveils. There's no room for ordinary car's. The buildings are built higher and higher, to look for more space. Technically, most of the elements are prepared in 3D technique, apart from the background which is painted on different layers, to fit in with the perspective. The format is HD 1080p25 - Pixel aspect HD 1440 x 1080

2. Future Man

Cyborg concept was based on the idea of the cohabitance of humans and the machines. The main assumpsion is that the robots live like ordinary people – that's why we tried to focus on feelings; the character is sitting on the bench and feeding pigeons. The scene contains the footage of the park shot in Copenhagen, and the 3D animation of the cyborg and the pigeons. The format is HD 1080p25 - Pixel aspect HD 1440 x 1080

3. Future Waste

Future waste wise it's the idea based on contradiction; The image shows endless landfill, which breeds green and healthy plant. The landfill image is based on the stock photos, postprocessed digitally. The plant is a 3D animation, The format is HD 1080p25 -Pixel aspect HD 1440 x 1080

4. Future Food

The main assumption was to answer the question: how the future food will look like, and how it's made? To opening shots were take in restaurant in Copenhagen, where young couple oreder their meal. Everything looks contemporary, apart from cooking. Food is being prepared by machine; the substance used as a base ingredient doesn't look nice at all, but in the end we see appetizing meal. The hand was shot on bluescreen, and key out to compose it latter with the animated background. The „food replicator” was created in 3D, as wel as fluid simulation and fume. The format is HD 1080p25 - Pixel aspect HD 1440 x 1080

5. Open titles

Open titles for the series was inspired by the idea of date counter, forming the title.
Animation is made in compositing, The format is PAL, 720 x 576 16:9 aspect ratio.
